The pair also clinched two ATP 250 titles at the New York Open (d. Gonzalez/Qureshi) in February and at last week’s European Open in Antwerp (d. Ram/Salisbury).
As a result of Krawietz and Mies’ qualification, Frenchmen Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut, winners of the Australian Open in January, also secured their spot in London per the Grand Slam rule.
Only three spots remain in the Nitto ATP Finals doubles field, with Juan Sebastian Cabal/Robert Farah, Lukasz Kubot/Marcelo Melo and Raven Klaasen/Michael Venus having already qualified.
